To take a leap of faith or not?
That is a question I constantly find myself asking everyday, all day. I have yet to learn how to put it in God’s hands without trying to micromanage Him. Yes, I hate to admit it but I am a micro-manager. It is one thing to share your body butters with friends and family and experiment on them. But to put my product out there for the whole world of Facebook to see? Nerve-wrecking.
If you have seen any of my previous posts then you would know that I have been experimenting with homemade lotions and body butters for only a few years. It was a fun hobby to mix my favorite lotions and essential oils together and get the benefits of all those things in one. I have decided to finally sell my products for the world to see. My beginning line of body butters will include body buttersmade with shea butter and even a whipped coconut body cream. I will be adding mango body butters soon, so be on the lookout for those.
After making and testing the products myself as well experimenting on my friends, I found that both body butters can be the ultimate soothing moisturizer. But it is completely up to what you desire personally. My lavender eucalyptus mango butter is chunky, but melts right into your skin. My other product, peppermint tea tree shea butter, has more of a body butter consistency. It was made with natural shea butter, so while it smells like peppermint it still has that shea butter smell to it.
